Hello, I'm Sarah.
It's important to feel comfortable with your counselor, so if you're here doing your research--way to go!

The first thing for you to know about me is that I love my job and feel grateful for the privilege of connecting with people and supporting them in feeling better. I earnestly care for others and have a great appreciation for the challenge of therapeutic work.
With a background in education, I bring a natural teaching style to my work. I like understanding and explaining how our brains work. Learning about ourselves is a great way to demystify our behaviors and reduce anxiety in general. My approach aims to be conversational enough to give you coffee shop comfort and professional enough to help you keep moving in the direction of your goals.

I'm a real live person in addition to working as a therapist. I'm a mom, wife, person of faith, and community member. My hobbies include killing houseplants, reading, ruining recipes, caring for the critters in our home, and going for long walks in fresh air. I love to laugh and find humor in things, even the hard things, because it really does help.
